JOLLT Journal of Languages and Language Teaching is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA), Indonesia. The journal is committed to the regular publication of scholarly research in language studies, linguistics, applied linguistics, language education, and related interdisciplinary fields.
JOLLT maintains a clearly defined publication schedule to ensure transparency, continuity, and timely dissemination of scholarly contributions. The journal's development reflects its commitment to improving publication quality, editorial management, and accessibility for national and international scholarly communities.
JOLLT publishes four issues annually, with regular publication scheduled in January, April, July, and October. Each calendar year constitutes one volume consisting of four regular issues.
PUBLICATION FREQUENCY
JOLLT follows a quarterly publication schedule, with four issues published each year in January, April, July, and October. This publication frequency has been implemented since 2020.
The regular publication schedule is presented in the following table.
| Issue | Publication Month | Publication Frequency | Volume Arrangement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Issue 1 | January | First Quarter | One annual volume comprising four regular issues |
| Issue 2 | April | Second Quarter | |
| Issue 3 | July | Third Quarter | |
| Issue 4 | October | Fourth Quarter |
The publication schedule specifies the regular publication month rather than a fixed calendar day. The actual publication dates of individual issues are recorded and made publicly accessible through the journal's online publishing platform.
JOLLT follows an annual volume numbering system in which each publication year is represented by one volume containing four regular issues.
For example, the 2026 publication year comprises Volume 14, Number 1 (January), Volume 14, Number 2 (April), Volume 14, Number 3 (July), and Volume 14, Number 4 (October).
This arrangement provides consistency in serial publication records and facilitates accurate identification, indexing, citation, and retrieval of published articles.
The publication date of each issue is displayed in the journal's online archive. Readers, authors, and indexing services may consult the archive to verify the publication month, volume, issue number, and associated scholarly content.
Published articles are made available electronically through the journal's website in accordance with its open-access policy.

JOLLT has undergone several developments in its institutional affiliation, publication frequency, editorial policies, and manuscript preparation requirements. These developments reflect efforts to strengthen the journal's scholarly contribution and publication management.
JOLLT was previously associated with IKIP Mataram, an Indonesian higher education institution with a focus on teacher education and educational sciences.
Following the institutional transformation of IKIP Mataram into Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (UNDIKMA), the journal's institutional identity was updated accordingly.
JOLLT is currently published by Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika, Indonesia. The journal continues to support scholarly communication and publication in language studies, linguistics, applied linguistics, and language education.
During its earlier publication period, JOLLT followed a biannual publication schedule, with two issues published annually.
In response to the development of the journal's scholarly publication activities and the increasing number of manuscripts awaiting publication, JOLLT changed its publication frequency in 2020 from biannual to quarterly publication.
Since that change, the journal has maintained a regular schedule of four issues per year, published in January, April, July, and October.
The transition to quarterly publication represents an important milestone in the development of JOLLT's serial publication management and dissemination of scholarly research.
JOLLT obtained national journal accreditation under Decree No. 79/E/KPT/2023, dated 11 May 2023, issued by the relevant Indonesian higher education authority.
The journal currently identifies its accreditation classification as SINTA 2 in its published journal information.
Accreditation information is presented to support transparency concerning the journal's scholarly publishing status. Readers and authors are encouraged to consult the official national journal accreditation records for the applicable accreditation period and current classification.
As part of its editorial and publication improvements, JOLLT introduced an updated manuscript template in 2020 to support greater consistency in article structure, formatting, presentation, and scholarly reporting.
The updated manuscript preparation requirements are intended to assist authors in presenting research problems, methodologies, findings, discussions, and conclusions in a clear and academically appropriate manner.
Authors are required to use the current official JOLLT template when preparing submissions. Detailed instructions are available through the journal's Author Guidelines.
