Copyright, Open Access, Licensing, and Archiving Policy
Lensa: Jurnal Kependidikan Fisika (J-LKF) is committed to responsible scholarly publishing, the protection of authors' intellectual property rights, open dissemination of research, and the long-term accessibility of published scholarly content. The following policies govern copyright ownership, publication rights, licensing, open access, and digital preservation.
1. Copyright Policy
Authors who publish their scholarly work in J-LKF retain copyright ownership of their articles. Publication in the journal does not require authors to transfer copyright ownership to the publisher.
By submitting a manuscript and agreeing to its publication following acceptance, the authors grant J-LKF a non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, and preserve the accepted work in accordance with the journal's publishing policies and applicable open-access license.
1.1. Copyright Ownership
Authors retain the intellectual property rights associated with their original scholarly contributions, subject to applicable law and any valid pre-existing rights or agreements.
The journal is authorized to publish the accepted article as the version of record and to maintain its associated bibliographic metadata, publication history, and scholarly identifiers.
1.2. First Publication Rights
J-LKF receives the non-exclusive right to publish the accepted article first as a journal publication and to identify itself as the original publishing journal.
This arrangement does not prevent authors from exercising the rights permitted by the applicable Creative Commons license or from entering into other lawful, non-exclusive arrangements consistent with the journal's first publication rights.
1.3. Author Sharing and Self-Archiving
Authors may deposit and share their manuscripts or published articles through institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal academic websites, and other lawful scholarly communication platforms.
When sharing the published version, authors should provide appropriate attribution, identify J-LKF as the original place of publication, and include the article DOI and applicable license information where available.
The journal does not impose an additional embargo on the sharing of the published version under its stated open-access license.
1.4. Authors' Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted material is original and that they have the necessary rights or permissions to publish any third-party copyrighted content, including figures, photographs, illustrations, tables, and other reproduced materials.
Authors must appropriately credit original sources and disclose any material for which separate permissions or license conditions apply.
Copyright Statement
Copyright remains with the author(s). J-LKF is granted a non-exclusive right of first publication, and published articles are distributed under the applicable Creative Commons license.
2. Licensing Policy

| ShareAlike | Adaptations must be distributed under the same or an officially compatible license. |
| No Additional Restrictions | Users must not impose legal or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising rights granted by the license. |
2.3. Third-Party Materials
The Creative Commons license applies to material covered by the article's license. Third-party content that is separately credited or expressly excluded from the license may be subject to different copyright conditions and permissions.
Users are responsible for verifying the rights applicable to such materials before reuse.
2.4. Official License Information
Creative Commons CC BY-SA 4.0
Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International
Each published article should display its applicable license consistently on its journal landing page, published PDF, and available metadata. Articles published under different historical license terms remain subject to the license stated for those articles.
3. Open Access Policy
J-LKF provides immediate open access to its published scholarly articles. This policy reflects the journal's commitment to making scientific knowledge freely accessible to researchers, educators, students, practitioners, and the public.
Published articles are made available through the journal's official OJS platform without subscription fees, mandatory reader registration, or access embargoes.
3.1. Principles of Open Access
The journal implements the following open-access principles:
- Immediate Availability: Articles are accessible online when published, without an additional access embargo.
- Free Reader Access: Readers may access and download published articles without subscription or pay-per-view fees.
- Reuse and Redistribution: Published content may be reused in accordance with its applicable Creative Commons license.
- Scholarly Dissemination: Authors may share their published research through permitted academic and institutional communication channels.

3.2. Access to Published Articles
Readers can access journal issues, article information, abstracts, and available full-text publications through the official journal website.
Access to published scholarly articles is distinct from registration requirements associated with manuscript submission or editorial account management.
3.3. Open Access and Publication Fees
Open access means that readers are not charged for accessing the journal's published articles.
Any Article Processing Charges applicable to authors are governed by the journal's separately published Author Fees policy. Such charges do not constitute reader access or subscription fees.
Open Access Statement
J-LKF makes published scholarly content immediately available to readers and supports responsible sharing and reuse under the applicable open-access license.
4. Digital Archiving and Preservation Policy
J-LKF recognizes the importance of preserving published research for future access, scholarly verification, and continuity of the scientific record.
The journal supports digital preservation through its Open Journal Systems (OJS) publishing infrastructure, including publisher-manifest interfaces for LOCKSS and CLOCKSS.
These interfaces identify journal content that may be collected for preservation under the applicable technical requirements, participation arrangements, and permissions of the respective preservation networks.
4.1. LOCKSS Preservation
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) is a distributed digital preservation technology designed to protect scholarly materials against long-term loss and support continued access to preserved content.
J-LKF provides a LOCKSS Publisher Manifest through its OJS platform. The manifest is intended to identify published journal issues and associated resources that may be eligible for preservation by authorized LOCKSS systems.

4.2. CLOCKSS Preservation
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) is a community-governed digital preservation archive developed to safeguard scholarly content over the long term.
CLOCKSS operates as a distributed preservation infrastructure in which participating publishers and libraries support the preservation of scholarly publications.
J-LKF provides a CLOCKSS Publisher Manifest through its OJS platform to support identification and potential collection of its published content under applicable CLOCKSS preservation arrangements.

4.3. Preservation Scope
The journal seeks to maintain access to its published scholarly record, including:
- Published article files and versions of record.
- Bibliographic metadata, including titles, authors, affiliations, abstracts, and publication dates.
- Volume and issue information.
- Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) and other applicable scholarly identifiers.
- Supporting materials made available as part of the published record, where technically supported and authorized.
The content actually preserved by a particular external archive depends on its technical capabilities, collection policies, ingest procedures, and applicable agreements.
4.4. Long-Term Access and Continuity
J-LKF is committed to maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and continuity of its scholarly publication record.
The journal supports the preservation of article files and bibliographic metadata through its publishing infrastructure and seeks to ensure that authorized preservation services can access eligible journal content where appropriate.
External preservation networks may provide additional protection against loss of content arising from technological, institutional, or operational disruptions, subject to confirmed archival participation and ingest.
4.5. Preservation Transparency
The existence of an OJS Publisher Manifest indicates that an interface for preservation is provided. It does not, by itself, establish that all published articles have been harvested, ingested, or retained by an external preservation network.
Actual preservation coverage depends on confirmed participation, applicable agreements, technical collection, and archival verification.
The journal will maintain accurate descriptions of its archiving arrangements and update its preservation information when verified arrangements change.
Digital Preservation Information
The journal provides OJS Publisher Manifest endpoints for LOCKSS and CLOCKSS. Preservation participation and coverage should be confirmed through the relevant archiving services and institutional records.
