This study aimed to develop and evaluate the validity and practicality of a Discovery Learning-based learning module on the topic of salt hydrolysis for senior high school students. A Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4-D development model, consisting of the define, design, develop, and disseminate stages, was employed. The disseminate stage was conducted on a limited scale at the research site. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and teacher interview guidelines. The module was validated by one material expert, one construct expert, and one language expert. The practicality test involved one chemistry teacher and 23 Grade XI students at MAS Nurul Maulid Muara Panas. The validation results showed validity scores of 71%, 79%, and 75% for the material, construct, and language aspects, respectively, indicating that the module was valid. The practicality test yielded a score of 87%, indicating that the module was highly practical. These findings indicate that the developed Discovery Learning-based learning module on salt hydrolysis meets the validity and practicality criteria and is suitable for use in chemistry learning. Further research is recommended to examine the effectiveness of the module in improving students' learning outcomes, learning motivation, and conceptual understanding.
