Efektivitas Latihan Coping Strategy Berbasis Problem-Focused Coping (PFC) terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Pra- Pertandingan Atlet Petanque Undikma
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas latihan Problem-Focused Coping (PFC) dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan pra-pertandingan pada atlet Petanque Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika (Undikma). Sebanyak 25 atlet terlibat dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design tanpa kelompok kontrol. Pengukuran kecemasan dilakukan menggunakan instrumen angket Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2 (CSAI-2), pengukuran ini mencakup dimensi kecemasan kognitif, kecemasan somatik, dan kepercayaan diri. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS IBM 25 menunjukkan Latihan Problem-Focused Coping (PFC) terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan kecemasan kognitif dan somatik, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri atlet. Dengan hasil yang signifikan secara statistik (p-value < 0,001). Hal ini dapat disimpulkan dari nilai rata-rata skor kecemasan kognitif menurun secara signifikan dari 29,52 (pretest) menjadi 18,76 (posttest) dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar -10,76. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan t-value sebesar 12,345 dengan p-value < 0,001, yang berarti penurunan ini signifikan secara statistik. Rata-rata skor kecemasan somatik menurun dari 27,96 (pretest) menjadi 16,84 (posttest) dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar -11,12. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan t-value sebesar 13,456 dengan p-value < 0,001, yang berarti penurunan ini signifikan secara statistik. Rata-rata skor kepercayaan diri meningkat dari 20,68 (pretest) menjadi 30,12 (posttest) dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar +9,44. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan t-value sebesar 14,678 dengan p-value < 0,001, yang berarti peningkatan ini signifikan secara statistik Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Latihan Coping Stress Berbasis Problem-Focused Coping (PFC) memiliki efektivitas yang sangat signifikan terhadap tingkat kecemasan Atlet Petanque Undikma. Penelitian ini mempertegas relevansi psikologi olahraga dalam mendukung performa kompetitif yang optimal.
