PERAN KETERAMPILAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL GURU BK TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS LAYANAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING DI SMAN 1 NGAMPRAH

Keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) merupakan faktor penting yang menentukan efektivitas layanan kepada siswa. Komunikasi yang empatik, terbuka, dan suportif diyakini mampu membangun hubungan kondusif sehingga meningkatkan keberhasilan layanan konseling. Meskipun penelitian internasional menegaskan peran hubungan terapeutik, kajian empiris di konteks sekolah Indonesia masih terbatas, khususnya yang mengungkap dinamika komunikasi secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal guru BK terhadap efektivitas layanan bimbingan dan konseling di SMAN 1 Ngamprah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ditentukan secara purposif, terdiri atas 2 guru BK dan 6 siswa yang telah mengikuti layanan BK minimal satu kali dalam satu semester terakhir. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, serta diperkuat analisis tematik. Keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan member checking. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal yang diwujudkan melalui empati, keterbukaan, sikap suportif, sikap positif, dan kesetaraan mampu menciptakan hubungan konseling yang nyaman dan penuh kepercayaan. Kondisi ini meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, mengurangi stigma negatif terhadap layanan BK, serta mendorong perubahan perilaku positif seperti peningkatan motivasi belajar dan kedisiplinan. Kendala yang ditemukan meliputi siswa yang sulit terbuka, keterbatasan jumlah guru BK, dan kurangnya dukungan keluarga. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya penguatan kompetensi komunikasi interpersonal guru BK, kolaborasi dengan orang tua, serta pengembangan layanan yang lebih adaptif guna mendukung efektivitas layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah menengah.
