Open-Ended untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Matematika Siswa Kelas VII di SMPN 1 Terara

Abstract


Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas VII SMPN 1 Terara. Metode pembelajaran terbuka digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan terbuka dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat dari 65,55 pada siklus I menjadi 81,73 pada siklus II, dan persentase ketuntasan klasik juga meningkat dari 62,96% menjadi 86,95%. Dengan demikian, pendekatan open-ended terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa.
