Direct Instruction: Pembelajaran Terstruktur Untuk Peningkatan Kompetensi Guling Depan Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas model Direct Instruction dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik siswa sekolah dasar khususnya teknik guling depan dalam senam lantai. Desain penelitian menggunakan eksperimen one-group pretest-posttest, dengan melibatkan 24 siswa laki-laki dari SD Negeri Sidamulya Cilegon sebagai sampel. Intervensi dilakukan menggunakan model Direct Instruction yang ditandai dengan panduan terstruktur, instruksi eksplisit, dan umpan balik konstruktif untuk mengajarkan teknik guling depan. Hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan secara statistik, dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 56,25 menjadi 73,75 (p < 0,001). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa model Direct Instruction efektif dalam mendukung penguasaan keterampilan motorik dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa melalui pemecahan gerakan kompleks menjadi langkah-langkah yang lebih sederhana serta pemberian umpan balik langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Direct Instruction tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis tetapi juga mengatasi hambatan psikologis seperti rasa takut cedera dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting terhadap bukti empiris yang mendukung Direct Instruction sebagai pendekatan terstruktur dalam pembelajaran keterampilan motorik di pendidikan jasmani serta memberikan rekomendasi praktis untuk implementasinya di sekolah dengan keterbatasan fasilitas.
