Strategi Kepala Sekolah Dalam Mendukung Efektivitas Penerapan Full Day School di SMAN 12 Tanjung Jabung Barat

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi kepala sekolah dalam mendukung efektivitas penerapan Full Day School di SMAN 12 Tanjung Jabung Barat yang meliputi perumusan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi strategi, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 12 Tanjung Jabung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, dengan subjek kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta diuji dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses perumusan strategi kepala sekolah dilakukan secara sistematis dan partisipatif melalui perencanaan pengelolaan waktu belajar, perencanaan kesiapan pendidik, perencanaan pengembangan sarana dan prasarana, serta perencanaan pemerataan layanan pendidikan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa guna menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif dan merata.

Abstract: This study aims to describe the principal's strategy in supporting the effectiveness of the Full Day School implementation at SMAN 12 Tanjung Jabung Barat, which includes the formulation, implementation, evaluation of the strategy, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. This research was conducted at SMAN 12 Tanjung Jabung Barat. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study type, with the subjects of the principal, vice principal for curriculum, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation, and tested by triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that the principal's strategy formulation process was carried out systematically and participatory through planning learning time management, planning teacher readiness, planning the development of facilities and infrastructure, and planning the equal distribution of educational services tailored to student needs to create effective and equitable learning.
