This community service program aims to strengthen the financial management capacity of the Shrimp-Processing Fisherfolk Group in Pidodo Kulon Village, Kendal Regency, through the systematic implementation of cash recording, income statement preparation, and the separation of business and personal finances to promote business transparency and sustainability. The program employed an educational and practical training approach involving 22 participants. Program evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests, with the data analyzed using a paired-samples t-test following the Shapiro–Wilk normality test. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' financial management knowledge, with the mean score increasing from 53.64 to 75.45 (mean difference = 21.82; t(21) = −9.329; p < .001; r = 0.638; p = .001). Participants who had previously relied solely on memory began implementing cash recording and cost calculations in their daily business activities. These findings suggest that practice-based financial education using simple manual bookkeeping instruments can serve as a feasible initial step toward strengthening the financial management capacity of coastal microenterprises with limited access to digital technology. However, sustained implementation requires periodic mentoring and follow-up assessments to ensure that these practices are maintained over time.
